Prerequisite: MATH 140 or equivalent with a grade of "C" or better or appropriate placement. This is a course intended for students who need a thorough foundation before attempting calculus. Included will be the study of the real number system, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions, the complex numbers, theory of equations, and systems of equations. (CSU) (UC credit limited. See a counselor.)
