I am a semi-retired United Methodist minister now teaching RELS 100 - Religions of the Modern World. I've taught this class on and off for several years and still truly enjoy teaching it and the students who take the class. I am passionate about people of different religious traditions as well as those without any religion at all, being able to talk to each other in ways that are compassionate and important. My "avatar" (a concept we'll study in particular when we get to Hinduism) is a picture of me with my oldest granddaughter who, along with her younger sister, are super passions of my life. I like to travel and have been to Africa twice -- Nigeria and Ghana.
