Prerequisites: MATH 091 with a grade of "C" or better. This introductory course focuses on choices of individuals and individual firms and what guides decision making in market-based economies. Emphasis given to scarcity, opportunity cost, resource allocation, , supply and demand, elasticity, market failures, cost theory, price and output determination under various market structures, factor markets and the principles of economic analysis.
